Floresan mikroskopida floroforlarni qo'zg'atish va keyinchalik floresans signalini aniqlashga imkon beradigan tasvirlash texnikasi qo'llaniladi. Floresan mikroskoplari uchun kerakli qo'zg'alish / emissiya to'lqin uzunligida yorug'likni aks ettirish uchun kuchli yorug'lik manbai (100W Mercury yoki 5W LED) va filtr kublari dikroik oynaga kerak.
